Jenny Randerson - Wales in Danger of Economic Relegation3.50.23pm BST (GMT +0100) Wed 28th Jul 2010 Commenting on news that Wales was ranked bottom of a league table of UK competitiveness and 11th of 12 in the UK productivity league table Jenny Randerson AM, Welsh Liberal Democrat spokesperson said "I am increasingly concerned by the inability of the Labour-Plaid government to respond quickly to challenges set by economic crisis. They seem more concerned with travelling to North Wales in style than allowing people to improve their skills. Wales is in danger of economic relegation if there is a further slide in competitiveness. The Minister's new renewal strategy needs to impact quickly."
