Comment on NEETS (those not in education, employment or training) in Wales

2.46.33pm BST (GMT +0100) Wed 28th Jul 2010

Commenting on the latest figures revealing the number of NEETS in Wales, Jenny Randerson, Welsh Lib Dem Shadow Education and Economy Minister said:

"These figures show a disappointing stagnation in the reduction of young people not in education, employment or training in Wales. Historically, Wales has had the highest percentage of Neets in the UK and the Labour-Plaid government really needs to get a grip on these figures so that young people don't start life on the wrong foot."
