Assembly Member invites Minister to visit Cathays Library.5.17.00pm BST (GMT +0100) Wed 14th Jul 2010 Welsh Lib Dem Assembly Member for Cardiff Central today invited Heritage Minister, Alun Ffred Jones to visit the newly refurbished Cathays Library. Commenting after speaking to the Minister in the Senedd, Jenny said: " "I am so proud of Cathays Library, a Carnegie facility which has finally been brought back to full and splendid use by the Council. "This was a facility that Labour tried to close when they ran the Council, so I am delighted that it is safe for future generations. "The Minister was kind enough to join me for a pint in the Vulcan pub as part of the campaign to save it, so I'm delighted he has said he is willing to visit Cardiff Central again to see this wonderful place up close."
