The new housing development at Cwrt Pen-y-Bryn has now opened - and local Lib Dems have already been working in the area, correcting a incorrectly-spelt road sign.

The Gabalfa Liberal Democrat Focus Team has welcomed new residents to Cwrt Pen-y-Bryn off North Road.

The development, on the site of the former Currys electrical store, is now occupied by residents, and local Lib Dem councillors have already been working to improve the street! A misspelt road sign at the entrance to the street has now been amended so that the street name is correct (see photo).

Local Lib Dem councillor, Ed Bridges, said: "The Lib Dems worked hard to get the original planning application for this site refused - that application would have seen a rather ugly, boxy set of flats built rather than the more appealing brick buildings we have now. The mixture of flats and houses is also much more appropriate for our area."

Any residents of the new site are more than welcome to contact Cllr. Ed Bridges or Cllr. Cathy Pearcy with any local problems with which they would like assistance.
