Focus Team gets Heddfan North flats repaired

Fighting vandalism: Local Lib Dem councillors Paul Chaundy and Judith Woodman are delighted that the Heddfan North flat improvements are now complete and the people who vandalised them caught.

Local residents were recently horrified after improvement works to Heddfan North flats were vandalised.

The Liberal Democrat controlled council re-cladded the block of flats to give them a face lift and improve insulation. However, before the work was completed it was vandalised.

The Pentwyn Focus team was on the case and is delighted to report that a culprit has been caught and will be prosecuted. The block of flats has now been repaired.

Cllr. Judith Woodman said, "The finished Heddfan North flats are a massive improvement with the blue exterior making the whole estate look brighter.

"I'm delighted that local people were able to help the police bring these vandals to justice."
