Top marks for local primary school - Lib Dems say "well done" to Allensbank!12.00.00am GMT Mon 3rd Mar 2008
The Gabalfa Lib Dem Focus Team have issued a heartfelt 'congratulations' to Allensbank Primary after a fantastic recent inspection report. The Estyn inspection commended the school for providing a stimulating learning environment for its pupils, with pupil behaviour being singled out for particular praise. Cllr. Cathy Pearcy, who is a governor at the school, said: "It's great to see our local primary school doing so well. The pupils and staff deserve our huge thanks and praise for their hard work." Cllr. Ed Bridges added: "I was pleased to see the school being recognised for its achievements in art and drama. The school plays I have watched at Allensbank have been absolutely wonderful, and it's great to see the pupils' efforts being noted."
