Jacqui Hooper and Ann Rowland-James congratulate Meadowbank School on their wonderful recent inspection report.

Meadowbank School in Llandaff North is celebrating an excellent inspection report, with top grades in six of the seven criteria examined.

The school, which caters for children aged four to eleven with speech and language disorders, scored six Grade 1s and one Grade 2 in the inspection which took place in October last year.

Inspectors described Meadowbank as a very good school with many outstanding features. They particularly praised the partnership between teachers, speech and language therapists and teaching assistants.

Lib Dem councillor for the area, Ann Rowland-James, said: "This was an excellent inspection report. It's wonderful news for our area - congratulations to all the pupils, staff and parents."

Local resident, Jacqui Hooper, added: "It's great to see our local schools performing so well."
