Safer junctions for Gabalfa: Cllr. Ed Bridges and Cllr. Cathy Pearcy are working for safer junctions on streets like Heathfield Road and Heathfield Place in Gabalfa.

The Gabalfa Lib Dem Focus Team is pleased to report progress on getting junctions made safer in our area.

Residents raised concerns at recent PACT meetings about motorists parking dangerously on junctions. Your Lib Dem councillors contacted the council to call for double yellow lines on the corners of Pen-y-Bryn Road and Newfoundland Road, and also on the junction of Heathfield Road and Heathfield Place.

Cllr. Ed Bridges told www.cardifflibdems.org.uk: "People were worried about cars being parked on corners, making visibility difficult and putting pedestrians at risk. These junctions are now going through the legal process of having double yellow lines introduced."
