Jacqui Hooper and Cllr. Ann Rowland-James believe improvements to Station Road will reduce traffic accidents in the area.

The Llandaff North Focus Team is delighted that Cardiff's Lib Dem council will be introducing a traffic management scheme on Station Road.

Work on the scheme is now in its final detailed design stage, and is scheduled to begin in February 2008. It will include a series of build-outs along the entire stretch of the road and some much needed cycle racks for the area.

Local councillor, Ann Rowland-James, said: "This scheme will make such a difference to local residents. Hopefully it will greatly assist safe entry and exit from all the side roads and help reduce the number of accidents."

Local resident, Jacqui Hooper, added: "As someone who uses this road on a daily basis, I am pleased that our Liberal Democrat council has decided to invest money into making Station Road a safer environment for motorists, cyclists and pedestrians."
