Open for business: The Pentwyn and Llanedeyrn Focus Team and local residents are delighted that a new supermarket has opened on the site of the former Kwik Save store in the Maelfa Centre.

Your local Lib Dem Focus Team have welcomed the new supermarket which has begun trading at the former Kwik Save site.

The owner, Mr Khan, has made a commitment to our community and there are a large range of products available. Please support all the businesses currently trading at this location. Use them or lose them.

Local Lib Dem councillor Keith Hyde said, "I am delighted that the council has found a suitable replacement for the old Kwik Save store. The supermarket will be a valuable part of our community and hopefully bring people back to the Maelfa."

Councillor Judith Woodman added, "Redevelopment of the Maelfa will take some time and it is crucial that our community supports all the businesses at the centre during this period and beyond."
