The Heath Liberal Democrat Focus Team has been working with the police and residents to address anti-social behaviour in the area around Llwynfedw Gardens.

The issue was raised at a recent PACT (Police & Communities Together) meeting held in Ton Yr Wren School, and strong feelings were expressed by local residents about the need for positive action on the matter.

Your three local councillors attended the meeting, and have all agreed to press for park wardens to increase their monitoring of the park. They have also requested that both the inner and outer gates are locked after opening hours.

Local Lib Dem councillor, Jim James, told us: "I can understand the concerns of residents on the issue, and we will do what we can to ensure action is taken. I am hopeful that the council and police can work together to address the matter. PC Leigh Parfitt and his team have already agreed to give priority attention to the area over coming weeks."
