The Llandaff North Focus Team has expressed huge disappointment at news that planning permission has been granted for flats to be built on land at Radyr Place in Mynachdy.

The Planning Committee, which met on 11 April 2007, saw permission for the flats granted, despite representations from local Lib Dem councillor Ann Rowland-James. The Labour MP and Labour AM did not attend the meeting.

Councillor Ann Rowland-James told us: "This is a huge disappointment. I believe the plans are unacceptable and will result in the loss of an important open space for Mynachdy residents."
