Lib Dems propose investment in Hailey Park youth facilities12.00.00am BST (GMT +0100) Fri 13th Apr 2007
The Llandaff North Focus Team has welcomed news of potential investment into youth facilities at Hailey Park. Cardiff's Liberal Democrat council has provisionally agreed to invest £75,000 in the park over the next few years to provide a skateboarding ramp as well as BMX facilities, a games area and a new playground. Residents will be consulted on the plans soon. Local councillor, Ann Rowland-James, told Focus: "This could be wonderful news. I have been campaigning for years to get better youth facilities in our area. I'm delighted that Cardiff's Liberal Democrats are improving our area after years of Labour neglect."
