Local councillors Bill Kelloway, Freda Salway and Tricia Burfoot are calling for traffic lights on the junction of Colchester Avenue and Hammond Way.

The Penylan Focus Team is delighted by plans to install traffic lights on the junction of Hammond Way and Colchester Avenue.

Liberal Democrat Councillors in Penylan have been calling for traffic lights for a number of years. At busy times, residents of Hammond Way find it very dangerous pulling out onto Colchester Avenue.

Local campaigner Cllr. Freda Salway said, "Hammond Way residents have had to negotiate this hazardous junction for many years. I am delighted the council has now agreed to install traffic lights."
