Cllr. Keith Hyde and the Pentwyn Focus Team tried to stop the Retreat from getting late licence.

On 14th November, local Lib Dem councillor Keith Hyde opposed a late licence for the Retreat at the Magistrate's Court.

Local Lib Dem councillor Keith Hyde said, "Local people were concerned that a late licence would disturb people living around the pub, but unfortunately the Magistrate granted the late licence."
