Cardiff North's Liberal Democrat candidate, John Dixon, is backing a pledge to address fuel poverty.
Local campaigner, John Dixon, has joined other Liberal Democrats in signing up to a radical campaign to address fuel poverty in Wales.
An estimated 320,000 households in Wales have to spend more than 10% of their income on fuel. The Fuel Poverty Charter (www.fuelpovertycharterwales.org.uk) calls on politicians to draw up a detailed action plan to address the situation and support all households affected.
John told us: "It is unacceptable in a civilised society for fuel poverty to be ignored by politicians. That's why I have signed up to the pledge and will work to address the situation."
