Cllr. Fenella Bowden and John Dixon are working with Cardiff's Lib Dem Council to make the lane by Thornbury Close in Birchgrove an adopted piece of land to address issues of fly-tipping.
Cllr. Fenella Bowden is working with residents to improve the condition of one of the lanes in the Birchgrove area.
The lane which joins Homelands Road and Thornbury Close is regularly used by local residents but has never been adopted by the Council.
Fenella said: "The lane has long been in a poor condition and has been a regular spot for fly-tipping. It is not pleasant trying to make your way through the vegetation and mess that gathers there, and I am therefore proposing that we make an application for Public Right of Way to the Council for this lane so that it will be upgraded and maintained to a regular standard."
John Dixon added: "This will be good news for those residents who use the lane regularly as a means of access, and for those who are living adjacent to it."
As ever, the Heath Focus Team will be keeping residents in touch with progress!
