Cllrs. Jacqui Hooper and Ed Bridges are pleased to have got the slip road by Radyr Place and Mynachdy Road resurfaced after a long campaign.

Cardiff North Liberal Democrats have been successful in their long-running campaign to get the slip road and bridge between Mynachdy Road and Radyr Place resurfaced.

The stretch of road, near to the Mynachdy Institute, has for many years suffered from horrendous problems with potholes, and Lib Dem councillors have regularly had to get the road repaired to prevent vehicles from becoming damaged. However, after recent requests to the Council, the worst-affected stretch of road has now been fully resurfaced.

Gabalfa ward councillor, Ed Bridges said: "This stretch of road has been a problem for as long as any of us can remember. We are pleased that it has finally been properly resurfaced."

Llandaff North councillor and local resident, Jacqui Hooper, added: "Hopefully the road will now be a lot safer for motorists and pedestrians. I am pleased that Cardiff's Lib Dem Council has carried out this work."
