Cllr. Cathy Pearcy and the Gabalfa Lib Dem Focus Team are keen for residents to have their say over plans to convert the upper floors of the Maindy pub into flats.
Liberal Democrats in Gabalfa ward are urging local residents to write in with their comments on plans to convert the upper floors of the Maindy pub into SEVEN self-contained flats.
A planning application (reference 09/137/W) has recently been submitted for the pub on North Road, which would see flats developed at the site, along with an extension to the upstairs floor of the pub. No parking provision is included under the proposals.
Any resident who would like more details can view the full plans and application at City Hall. Alternatively, more details are available from Cllr. Ed Bridges and Cllr. Cathy Pearcy at their surgery this coming Friday (13th February) at St. Mark's Church between 5.30 and 6.30pm.
Cllr. Cathy Pearcy said: "We are keen for residents to have their say over these plans. Anyone who would like to submit comments can send them to the Chief Regulatory Services Officer, City Hall, Cardiff, CF10 3ND, quoting the application number (#09/137/W). Comments can also be e-mailed to developmentcontrol@cardiff.gov.uk for consideration."
Cllr. Ed Bridges added: "I will do all I can to represent residents on this application, so do copy me in on any comments you submit about the plans, by CC'ing your e-mails to ebridges@cardiff.gov.uk - this way, I can reinforce the comments of local residents when I make my own submission."
