The Lib Dem council is planning to resurface Dryburgh Avenue at the beginning of December.
The work, subject to weather conditions, should take about two days. Residents are asked if they can park their vehicles off the street while workmen resurface the avenue.
Following complaints of poor drainage and potholes, the lane at the rear of Dryburgh Avenue has also been resurfaced.
Local councillor Jim James said, "I'm delighted that Dryburgh Avenue and the lane behind it are being resurfaced. The new resurfaced road will be much safer for cars and pedestrians."
