Investing in our schools and libraries

SchoolOver the last 7 years, Cardiff's libraries have seen major investment in our schools and Libraries.

Cardiff's Lib Dem Council is delivering the biggest investment in school buildings anywhere in Wales, and spending more on our children's education.

Official figures show that Cardiff Council's spending per pupil in schools has increased, from second bottom in Wales under Russell Goodway's Labour Party to second top under the Lib Dems.

Cardiff's Lib Dem Council is spending £313 more in schools per child per year than the average across Wales.

Lib Dems in Cardiff are also investing £180 million in new schools, new buildings and new nurseries.
